Fang Chen

Ms. Fang Chen is a Partner at Fondee IP Law LLC, focusing on patent prosecution and IP strategy in the fields of physics and electronics. She advises domestic and multinational technology companies on complex intellectual property matters.

Ms. Chen's practice encompasses patent drafting, office action responses, and reexamination proceedings. Her technical expertise covers quantum and physical optics, thermal physics, electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, and precision camera and lens modules.

Entering the IP profession in 2005 at CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, Ms. Chen has accumulated nearly two decades of practice experience. She has managed patent portfolios and drafted core applications for global enterprises, including Sony, Canon, Nikon, Toshiba, J-Power, Samsung, ZTE, Huawei, and the State Grid Corporation of China, alongside various U.S.-based technology companies. In addition to routine prosecution, she advises clients on patent mining and global IP layout strategies.

Ms. Chen holds a Master's degree in Quantum Optics from the University of Toronto, Canada, as well as a Master's in Condensed Matter Physics and a Bachelor's in Physics from Beijing Normal University. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
